Nintendo DS and Catridge Cake

This Cake was made for a Little boy for his surprise birthday Party.Couple of months back his Aunt Grace have contacted me asking if I could make the Nintendo Cake for the boy.She send me the layout[desing] for the Cake.I had lot of fun making the Cake.

The Nintendo was made with Rice krispies and covered with fondant . I air brushed it with blue. The Mario Cartridge is a square cake with Black fondant. The Sheet cake was a Red Velvet Cake with Cream Cheese Butter cream covered in Marshmallow fondant.

This is the email I got from the Client

"I would like to thank you for making the cake. It was awesome and everyone at the party thought it was so beautiful. The red velvet and cream cheese filling was delicious as well. The whole cake was the highlight of the party. "
Gracey.

Thank you Gracey.

Thank you friends. Spice people do eat fondant.I have not tried putting fondant decorations on whip cream cakes .Fondant can;t be refrigerated and whip cream have to be refrigerated .May be try putting the fondant decorating the last moment[ie,couple of minutes before you serve the cake].
