Hibiscus Flower
I have been thinking of making Hibiscus gum paste flowers for a long time. Yesterday I got the opportunity to try some. This was my first attempt and am Happy with the results. But for sure the leaves needs some more practice:).

oooh Dhanya! wat perfection in details!!! the lines on the petals look so perfect and lemme tell u, the green leaf doesn't look like fondant at all, it looks absolutely real!
girl u are one great artist!!! *salutes dhanya* :)
Wonderful creation dhanya.
Nice try Dhanya..I know how it feels when you try something new and it comes out well. I would just like to say that try rolling the petals more thin and give the petals more curl...which will give a standing effect of the flowers. What paste you used for flowers..flower paste rolls out very thin and use petal shine to give that satin real effect.
Thank you so much Karen,Crafty,Premy and Anamika.
